1. What we collect

  • Account & company data — name, email, phone, company name, DOT/MC numbers, fleet size, service area, addresses, and uploaded compliance documents.
  • Operational data — jobs, projects, assignments, dispatches, haul tickets, OCR-extracted ticket fields, and ticket photos.
  • Driver data — name, phone, email, CDL class, license/medical expirations, uploaded CDL/medical/TWIC photos, and dispatch status updates.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser/device info, and product analytics events used to keep the platform working and secure.

2. How we use it

We use this data to operate the platform: provision your workspace, deliver invites and notifications, route dispatches, run OCR on haul tickets, share documents between connected contractors and trucking companies, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell personal data.

3. AI processing

Haul-ticket photos and project intake documents may be sent to our AI gateway for extraction and summarization. Inputs are processed to return structured fields and are not used to train third-party models. OCR results are stored alongside the original ticket so you can correct them.

4. Who sees what

  • Members of your company see your company's data per their assigned permissions.
  • Connected counterparties (e.g., a contractor you've approved a connection with) see the documents you've explicitly shared and the jobs/dispatches you participate in together.
  • Drivers see the dispatches assigned to them and the tickets they submit.
  • Platform administrators may access data to provide support, resolve disputes, or investigate misuse.

5. Retention

Operational records (jobs, tickets, documents, audit logs) are retained for the life of your account plus a reasonable archival period for tax, compliance, and dispute resolution. You can request deletion of your account; some records may be retained where required by law or to resolve open obligations.

6. Security

We host data on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest, row-level access controls, and least-privilege service accounts. No system is perfect — keep your account credentials safe and report concerns to support.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you. Email privacy@point7connect.com to exercise these rights.

8. Changes

We will email account owners when this policy materially changes. The current version date is shown above.
